Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor

This film was created as a sequel to The Deadly Spawn. Original title: Deadly Spawn 2: The Transformation.

The TALOS CORPORATION, a state of the art scientific research complex, was assigned a secret grant by the Defense Department. Talos was to use this grant to investigate and analyze certain cell and tissue samples. The Defense Department was, for the most part, tight-lipped about the samples’ origin. However , they did hint that the tissue samples may be extra-terrestrial in nature. Talos was skeptical and suspected the samples were in fact some genetically altered biological substance from Earth. But why would they say it was from another planet? It was thought the material was covertly developed for biological warfare and Talos was being used to test what would be the government’s alibi.

This type of biological engineering is expressly forbidden under the UN Germ Warfare Pact. If they could fool Talos into believing the origin of this material was in fact from outer space, they could fool anyone and avoid indictment for violation of the Pact.

Award winning Scientist Dr. Robert Clarke and his research team (assistant / girlfriend Kathryn Mirtz and Bio-analyst Tony “Oni” Agar) are working on a new formula for the regeneration of human tissue. Working alone one night at Krell Labs, the facility is broken into by sadistic thieves.

The thieves receive a horrible shock when they learn the mixture of chemicals forced down Dr. Clarke’s throat didn’t kill him but instead transformed him into an incredibly powerful mutation. Destination Fame

Five high school graduates learn about the value of friendship, the excitement of music, the inconsistencies of life and what it takes to make it in the recording industry.

After being a big hit at his school, Chris wants to take his music to the next level and get a recording contract. His friends and music partners, Gabby, Joey, Lisa and Doug are excited at the prospect.

When the opportunity comes to actually make a record deal, the company is only looking for a solo artist and has no interest in Chris' friends. He has to take the deal when the company offers a huge cash signing bonus. His friends feel betrayed and start making plans to form their own record label. They have a friend who helps them when sharp businessman, Paulie, moves into the neighborhood.

As his friends are starting their own record label and a kick off concert, Chris learns that working with a big record company isn't everything he thought it would be. They begin to change his music, his lyrics and even his appearance. But, more than that, he misses his friends and girlfriend, Gabby.

After Joey (his best friend) learns from Paulie that Chris only took the deal to help his Mom pay the mortgage, they all reunite and give an outstanding concert performance.

Paulie has a big surprise for them as he brings their music idol on stage to join them for the grand finale.
